I apologize for not being skilled enough to complete the project myself. I have no background and no one looking over my shoulder giving me tips. Everything I've done so far is done through trial and error. I've read the FAQs at are on the internet and they have very little info as far as my current problems within this rom.

Actually I love your attempt at translating the Genghis Khan Games, I love Genghis Khan 2, but I haven't posted any comments on this blog because I didn't want to register anything, so I'm using my (unused) LJ account.
I don't have any experience in romhacking, but best of luck to you!
Oh yeah I forgot to mention, even though you never update, I still check your blog, every few weeks in hope of an update, so even if you don't hear from me again I'm still here.

Great work! Better keep it up because if you don't I will be very heartbroken.
Just wondering about one thing though. Do you remember the DOS version of Genghis Khan II? The battle sprites were a lot different than those in the console versions. Just wondering if a Japanese version of the dos version exists which still has the harem game intact.

I've messed with the scene for a little bit, so I do know a little bit to get me by or started and I think I would have a blast to mess with this.

Do you know of a way to change the rom to enable people to play the other leaders/empires in the game??
Just found your post. Been playing the series for a long time! Love the Koei games and this one most of all. I just found the GK 4 for psx i never knew existed!! So i hope you havent givin up translating bc you are my only hope lol. THanks and i will always be checking back for update.
